Shed Horn Wineries commissioned this label to brand their newest red blend wine.
When an animal posseses asymmetrical growth patterns in their horns it is classified as non-typical, this term applies to this wine's unique taste as well. The 'Y' was cleverly chosen as the brand's icon; a designer might typically choose the 'N' or "T' to showcase this product. The logotype mimics the spontaneous growth of non-typical horns. Random serifs are removed and parts of the letters are stretched out. A modern arrowhead and canvas background offer subtle acknowlegements to the hunter lifestyle. The die line loosely follows the contours of the arrowhead.
